RHOMBERG BALANCE TEST
In this test the officer will instruct the driver to stand straight with their head tilted back and eyes closed, arms out to the side, feet together, and count to thirty in their head.
It is easy for the officer will take note of any loss of balance, but it is hard to justify the use of this test as counting too slowly or too fast will result in a failure. There is almost no way to pass this test, and for every officer there could be a different result.
